Made by the Berber tribe of the Atlas Mountains, these baskets are traditionally used to carry dough and bread to and from the public bakeries – a daily custom in Morocco. Today, these baskets add a pop of color and adorn homes to bring a vintage bohemian style to any space. Baskets are crafted by artisans using locally sourced raffia, and handwoven with wool to create one-of-a-kind designs. We love to use these as space savers for cables and accessories!
Please note: Due to the craftsmanship process each basket will have a slight variation in color and pattern.

Don’t be fooled by its prickly name! Moroccan cactus silk is derived from The Saharan aloe vera cactus, which belongs to the agave family. Sometimes called vegetable or sabra silk, this luxurious, cruelty-free fabric is known for its strength and durability. After the silk is extracted from the plant, fibers are hand-dyed using spice and botanical pigments. Traditional Berber symbols are hand-embroidered on each piece to create a one-of-a-kind design.
Please note: Because these pillows are handmade slight imperfections may be visible in the fabric. This is not considered a defect and adds a bit of history to each handcrafted pillow.
